PUMA Bolsters the World Cup Armory With “Generation Fearless”

With just over five weeks to go until the host nation Qatar kicks off the 2022 World Cup, every piece of the puzzle has come together to complete the tournament’s full arsenal of gear. Kits sorted, PUMA readies its first strike with the launch of its “Generation Fearless” boot pack.

For the past few months, it’s felt like the footballing world has been suffocating us with some of the best kits that the sport has ever seen. Just when you think this season’s aesthetics have reached their peak, another set of slick styling flies onto the pitch.

Between Kappa with Venezia and Athens Kallithea FC, adidas with Arsenal (and the rest), and Nike’s efforts for the World Cup, there are far too many beauties to name them all.

Jerseys and shorts are great, but no full kit is complete without a slick pair of boots. Nothing irks me more than black boots on the pitch; I’ll find myself itching to see players I don’t even support get their boot sponsorship to see that back of them.

Fortunately, it’s unlikely we’ll be seeing any black boots at the World Cup, especially with the launch of “Generation Fearless” from PUMA.

The pack puts the focus on the ULTRA and FUTURE 1.4 models. Both are bolstered with tech, with the ULTRA featuring a combination of PUMA’s “5D PWRPRINT”’ and “SPEEDPLATE” for stability and speed, while the FEARLESS 1.4 incorporates FUZIONFIT for support and flexibility.

As all boots should be, both models are coated in a rich combination of red and gold. If you’re looking to unleash your inner baller, you can find both online – now, we wait to see who will strike the back of the net first wearing a pair during the World Cup.
